In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe

Latest Free Story Update

This patch also adds the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
